 Lady Elliot Island is
nestled in the southern most reaches of the Great Barrier Reef and carries
the reputation of one of the best dive and snorkeling spots in the world.
An unspoilt paradise, the coral cay is home to a vast collection of unique
wildlife.
 Fraser Island encompasses a
wide variety of eco systems from mountainous sand blows and fresh water
lakes to ancient, lush rainforests all growing out of pure sand. It's
variety of landscape and great 4WD makes Fraser Island one of the most
popular holiday destinations on the Fraser Coast.
The
Reef and Rainforest Package allows you to experience the best of World
Heritage Fraser Island and the Great Barrier Reef in this unique four night
trip which departs from Hervey Bay.
Day 1:
Hervey Bay - Lady Elliot Island
 Your trip begins by
departing the seaside city of Hervey Bay and taking a 40 minute
scenic flight to Lady Elliot Island. Flights depart 10.50am
daily.
Upon arrival you will
meet with the activity staff for a quick island orientation before
heading down to the Dive Shop to collect your snorkel, fins and
mask. Spend the afternoon exploring the warm waters and
snorkel straight off the beach. That evening enjoy a buffet
dinner before evening activities such as turtle viewing (in season)
Day 2:
Lady Elliot Island
 The next morning relax on the beach,
go for an island walk or discover the under water world of the
reef and take in some snorkeling.
You also have the opportunity for a
Glass Bottom Boat Tour and Scuba Diving. Equipment and
instruction are available at the PADI Dive Shop (subject to
additional cost and medical survey).
Day 3:
Lady Elliot Island - Hervey Bay - Fraser
Island
 Your
third day begins with a full buffet breakfast before returning to
Hervey Bay via a scenic flight which departs Lady Elliot Island at
approximately 9.20am.
Upon
arrival in Hervey Bay the Kingfisher Bay courtesy bus will be
waiting for you at the airport to transport you to the Marina.
From here cruise across the Great Sandy Straits to Kingfisher Bay on
the catamaran which departs at 12.00pm.  Spend the afternoon by one of the
four resort pools, go for a bush walk, sip on a cocktail at the Pool
Bar or throw in a line off the jetty, and that evening join in on
some of the optional activities such as a spotlighting tour.
Day
4: Fraser Island
 After a
hot breakfast, your fourth day is open for you to explore Fraser
Island. Why not join in on a 1 Day Guided Tour and discover the
stunning fresh water lakes and rainforests in the heart of the island,
or another option is to hire your own 4WD and travel at your own pace
(tours and 4WD are an additional cost).
Day
5: Fraser Island - Hervey
Bay
 Your
final day on Fraser Island begins with breakfast at the Maheno
Restaurant before allowing you the day to relax by the pool,
explore the local area or indulge your self at the beauty salon.
You have the option of departing for Hervey Bay on any of the
catamarans that day, cruises depart at 7.40am, 10.30am, 2.00pm and
5.00pm daily (30 minute journey).
Tour Ends at Hervey Bay Marina.
